The Bucks County Commissioners decided not to build Dark Hollow Dam.  This web page remains as information for a closed project.

Help fight flooding in the Neshaminy Watershed. Over the last year residents living in the Neshaminy watershed have suffered severe flooding -- damaging their homes, busineses and lives. In response, Bucks County is looking to revive the Dark Hollow Dam project, a project already rejected in 1989 because of its shortcomings. Residents living in the Neshaminy watershed are being told that building the Dam will solve their flooding woes. The problem is that the Dam is a false promise-- it will not provide the flood relief residents are being promised.

Write the Steering Committee with information/opinions/references about the Neshaminy Creek Watershed that you think are important. Don't assume that they know all they need to know. What you know or think is important -- take a few moments and let them know before the record is closed.
